Chen’s Taichi Certification Program! This program will cover all Chen’s Taichi technical contents. This program is for those who are interested in mastering the “Standard Chen Zhenglei Taichi system”. You can focus on one or all areas. Classes and certificate will be held and issued one level at a time.
The new program will follow the exact curriculum of Chen Zhenglei Taijiquan World Federation. All classes will be taught by Jack Yan who is an in-chamber Disciple of Grand Master Chen Zhenglei. He is ranked as a 10th Grade Master of Chen Zhenglei Taijiquan Federation technical system. He holds Chinese Wushu 8th Duan and Ph. D degree in Chinese Wushu. With sixty years of Wushu training experience and forty years of teaching experience, he designs this new program to meet the needs of a systematic approach for mastering the complete system.
This program will become part of the TNT Taichi curriculum. It’s structured into nine levels. At the end of each level, students will go through the certification test for that level. The certificate is to certify that you have completed the standardized training technically. After obtaining the technical certification, one can choose to take “Seminars for Becoming Taichi Instructors” in order to be certified as an instructor. The seminar for becoming Taichi instructors will be offered for each level. In these seminars, the participants will learn Taichi culture, teaching methods, key points to focus in teaching, expected outcomes and teachers’ etiquette. Those who pass the exam for instructor will receive the official Instructor Certificate for the appropriate level.
